Welcome to the Brutal Engine documentation. Follow these steps to set up your environment.

Note: Brutal Engine is currently compatible with Autodesk Maya 2025 only.

Steps

  1. Download the latest release archive.
  2. Extract to a permanent location (e.g., C:\BrutalEngine).
  3. Configure your Maya environment module.
set MAYA_MODULE_PATH=%MAYA_MODULE_PATH%;C:\BrutalEngine\maya
