Principled BSDF
The engine uses a Principled BSDF workflow compatible with Disney's specification. Key parameters include:
1. Base Color (Albedo): Diffuse color map.
2. Metallic: 0.0 for dielectrics (plastic, wood), 1.0 for metals.
3. Roughness: Micro-surface detail.
4. Transmission: For glass/liquid surfaces.
5. Subsurface: For skin, wax, or marble (uses Random Walk SSS).
6. Sheen (Fuzz): For cloth and velvet materials.
7. Coat: Secondary clear coat layer for car paints or varnished wood.
