USD / HYDRA PIPELINE
Brutal Engine is built with a USD-first philosophy. The hdBrutal Hydra delegate allows
the engine to function as a viewport renderer in any compatible application.
Supported Hosts
- Solaris (Houdini): Full support for LOPs, karma-like integration.
- Maya USD: Render directly from the Maya USD proxy.
- Omniverse: Compatible via the Hydra backend.
Capabilities
Supports all standard UsdPreviewSurface features and custom schema extensions for Brutal-specific materials.
